Traditional native sport is a sport growing in the local area. In Indonesia, there are a variety of well-known traditional sports.

Although diverse, not a lot of traditional sports in Indonesia, which appears on the surface. Sports games such as Fortress, Galah Asin, Benjang, Langga, Manggurebe, Runway Strip, and Zawo Pathol-Zawo, only known by a limited circle, particularly in areas where the sport originated.

The benefits of developing a traditional sport in Indonesia is that the sport can continue to be inherited to the next generation as a heritage rich culture of Indonesia.
